Lebanese Fashion designer debuts at NY Fashion Week

Sunnasee is thrilled to begin working with the Katra's who have most recently presented their stunning Haute Couture Collections at the Bucharest Fashion Week, held from the 25th through the 27th of November, 2005. The BMW sponsored event, with the collaboration of FashionTV International, invited Lebanese designers Pierre and his son Hadi Katra as guests of honor to take part in the fashion week's events and present their latest Fall/Winter 2006 Collection.
The fashion show took place at the Intercontinental Hotel in Bucharest with over 500 seated VIP guests in attendance. These guests included fashion professionals, journalists, and international media outlets representing countries from around the world. The fashion show displayed the latest creations of Katra: "Sophisticated and original, yet simple; trendy and sexy, very elegant" were the comments of the guests who were impressed by the collection.
Steven Seagal, the well-known US actor, was one of the special guests attending the event. After the show Mr. Seagal went backstage and personally congratulated Pierre and Hadi expressing his admiration to the collection.
Pierre and Hadi Katra also recorded a television broadcast for the Romanian people which was covered by Fashion TV and organized with Teo, the number one live TV show in Romania. The Katras displayed and discussed their collection on the broadcast with the unique and elegant 'Katra Style'of which thousands have come to recognize.
The Katra team's "don't-miss" artistic infusion of couture and leading-edge designs will be accompanied with special guests, exclusive auctions and live performances. Pierre and Hadi Katra's New York appearance will prove to be one of the most magnificent events in New York Fashion Week history.
