Tandy Brands Accessories appoints President of Women's Division

Tandy Brands Accessories Inc has informed that Jane Batts has been named President of Tandy Brands' Women's Division, effective immediately.
Batts will report to J.S.B. (Britt) Jenkins, President and Chief Executive Officer of Tandy Brands. Prior to the appointment, he had been President of the Dallas office of Strategic Transitions Inc, an executive talent agency.
From 2002 to early 2005, Batts served as Vice President of sales and merchandising at Fortune Swimwear, and Vice President of sales at Warnaco's Calvin Klein Swimwear division. Before that, he was the national sales director for Rampage Swimwear.
Commenting on the appointment, Britt Jenkins noted Batts' experience with well-known national brands like Fortune Swimwear, Calvin Klein and Rampage and said he expects that Tandy Brands will be able to leverage her brand expertise.
"Jane's experience makes her the ideal candidate to lead our women's division," Jenkins said.
Tandy Brands Accessories Inc designs, manufactures and markets fashion accessories for men, women and children. Key product categories include belts, wallets, handbags, suspenders, ties, socks, scarves, sporting goods, and cold weather and hair accessories.
Merchandise is sold under various national brand names as well as private labels to all major levels of retail distribution, including the ROLFS e-commerce web site.
