Scott Ian McFarland introduces luxe Holiday Collection

As the season sets in, Fashion Week designer, Scott Ian McFarland (SIM), introduces his premier Holiday Collection of men’s and women’s luxe knit clothing and outerwear. As a formally trained sculptor, McFarland translates his skills into his knitwear designs.

Using fine Italian fibers of alpaca cashmere and merino, as well as cotton, lace and denim ribbon, McFarland’s intricate details and elegant entertaining shapes encompass a collection that could only be created by a sculptor’s hand.

Featuring hand-knit lace coats, cotton and alpaca knit androgynous sweaters and cardigans, luxurious maxi dresses and warm patterned leggings, this collection identifies with any urbanite looking for a fashionably warm alternative to the dull and repetitive.

The Scott Ian McFarland 2012 Holiday Collection is available for purchase on the SIM website or at local retailers- LOFT1513 Boutique of Noe Valley in San Francisco and TOUCH Gallery of Montclair Village in Oakland.
