Brazilian textile cos show their class at FENIN

Brazilian Textile and Apparel Industry Association (ABIT) informes that the good quality of Brazilian products was what most caught the attention of international buyers who visited the FENIN – National Winter Fashion Fair, held from January 24-27, in Gramado, Rio Grande do Sul.
They were at the event at ABIT's invitation as part of the Texbrasil Program's Buyer. Below, read some of the statements from participants:
'The Brazilian companies are good and their products are of good quality. There is the possibility of doing business with two companies,” said Mafalda Sofia Tavares Soares, from the Portuguese company, Eurusa Ltda.
'The organization at the event is very good. I liked the companies, the products and there is the expectation for sales to grow annually,” declares Javier Saavedra, from Galicia Textil & Mode, Spain.
'I actually would have liked to visit more companies and I would certainly participate in another event like this one, with companies that have this kind of quality,” underscores Juan Pedro Fuentes, from the Spanish company, Arte e Tendências.
'The Brazilian companies are very excellent and FENIN is a very well organized fair. I was impressed with what I saw. My expectations were exceeded. On another opportunity, I would like the chance to know how the national textile productive chain works as a whole,” affirmed Liza Colbeck, from House of Fraser, United Kingdom.
"I saw products with good quality and that have a chance in the French market. Brazil and France still don't know each other well enough. There is still much to be explored. It is necessary to reinforce Brazil's presence in Europe, in promotional actions as was done last year at the Galeries Lafayette. However, it is important to underscore that Brazil already has a very positive image in Europe,” ensured Alain Ben Sussan, from Media Textiles, France.
