Men's fine clothing designer Ermenegildo Zegna launches collection for Fall Winter 2006/2007.
The key word of the 2006-2007 season is self-awareness, in all the collections signed Ermenegildo Zegna, where pret-à-porter has much in common with our sartorial background, as the icon renowned worldwide as the 'Made in Italy' elegance.
The creative efforts of the Group, for this coming season, have lead to the search for innovative solutions for the benefit of a demanding clientele, inspired by neo-individualism and focused on self-awareness and exclusivity of the products.
The source of inspiration for the Sartorial Collection this year is a sophisticated mix of more precious fabrics as well as lines conceived and designed to follow a masculine body contour.
Tradition is expressed through Trofeo, this timeless hit of the Ermenegildo Zegna collections, now available in several patterns, such as the Prince of Wales, or the new contrasting, shiny or striped linings, some recalling the typical tie-patterns.
Research and development by the Lanificio Zegna add more value to the passion for innovative mixes. Silk Skin is velvet in a mix between silk and cotton, in pied de poule or in “cover” version, used for unstructured jackets.
Micronsphere, an exclusive finishing process resistant to any form of stains, is the result of studies made to match nanotechnologies with luxury and performance in fabrics, such as the Traveller. The most recent “no-iron” shirts are the outfits that best complete a sophisticated and yet nonchalant collection, together with Decò ties in warm soft patterns.
