Oriental motifs & skinny jeans to be 'in' things in 2013
Jan '13
With the advent of New Year, fashion moguls from all around the world start predicting the trends that are going to rule the fashion scenes everywhere. From the variety of prints to the fits of jeans, fashion gurus always have some invaluable style tips for their ardent fans.
For some experts floral prints, polka dots or Oriental motifs are something that will surely dominate the global fashion trend in 2013. Be it summer dresses, breezy tops or blouses, these prints can perk up any outfit immediately by adding an instant feminine charm to them.
Skinny jeans is the next wardrobe must-have for the fashionistas because this look, which has been around for quite some time now, is definitely here to stay even in 2013. Slim-fit denims create an optical illusion by lengthening and slenderizing the legs, and hence are a favourite among women of all shapes and sizes.
Sheer fabrics are also going to be the next big thing this year because of their understated sensuality. The translucent fabric allows the women to show off a little skin but at the same time is modest enough not to make her feel uncomfortable.
The evergreen LBD or Little Black Dress – first introduced by Chanel and later made popular by Audrey Hepburn in the Hollywood romantic comedy ‘Breakfast at Tiffany’s’ – will have a little modification this year in terms of colours. The classic attire that can never go out of fashion can be expected to undergo a little makeover by replacing the timeless black with crimson or emerald green, the hues which will certainly make heads turn.
