With splashes of colour and adorable detail, the section will showcase designs for children aged 0-15 years, offering a colour-fuelled injection of fun fashion and contemporary brands.
Nixie will be among the new brands presenting their latest A/W13 collection, as well as an S/S13 collection for short order. Their A/W13 collection will offer heritage tweeds, colour blocking and vintage silk inserts with a colour palette of bright turquoise, deepest purple, earthy orange and tan with flashes of forest green and wolf grey.
The collection consists of easy care, organic cotton and bamboo jerseys for girls aged 4 to 12. Inspired by his mercurial energy, Nixie used David Bowie’s iconic alter-ego as its muse. This conceptual and graphic collection of eight pieces balances Nixie’s core ethic of sustainability and design-led quality with a quirky humorous aesthetic.
Someone Kids will be making a debut in Junior with a collection that targets children from ages 3 to 15. Their A/W13 range will feature printed dresses, cute artwork with rhinestone detail, appliqué for the small girls and bright colours and cool prints for the smaller boys. For the older children, prints are bold with more trend-driven pieces. The key colours this season consists of rumba red, electric blue and bright green, toned down by amber, dark persian blue and black.
Returning to the show, More Stories looks at up-and-coming illustrators and storytellers to bring inspiration and excitement to the collection. Fresh, fun and cool, their signature prints have a unique but simple charm. Aimed at boys and girls up to 10 years old, More Stories offers quirky colours and prints that are used on a mixture of easy, uncomplicated, super comfy garments.
