Exclusive luxury brand offering Lamarthe Paris's exquisite handbags were a major hit backstage in the celebrity retreat at the 12th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards.
Stars including Angela Bassett, Jamie Lee Curtis, Marisk Hargitay and Desperate Housewives' Marcia cRoss all had the opportunity to select their favorite Lamarthe bag as a gift.
Winners and presenters at the prestigious S.A.G. Awards were whisked off to the Luxury Retreat and had their pick of select gift items. Mariska Hargitay was charmed by Lamarthe's European designed and crafted handbags while Marcia Cross noted that they were both, "Classic and edgy."
Lamarthe Paris debuted its Spring 2006 Collection of handbags at the Screen Actors Guild Awards and plans increase distribution thoughout the U.S. and Canada in 2006.

2006 will continue to be a year of expansion for Lamarthe. Gardini signed an exclusive contract with San Francisco-based Skytech, Inc. to distribute Lamarthe products throughout North America.
The Lamarthe design team will roll out a new collection of women's suitcases including carry-ons, beauty cases and roller bags in addition to the handbag collection. A collection of scarves, gloves, and women's shoes is slated to be unveiled in 2007.
Parisian-based handbag retailer Lamarthe handbags and accessories are some of Europe's top sellers. Lamarthe is also sold in some of the world's top department stores including Le Bon Marché, Printemps, Galeries Lafayette, El Corte Inglès, Isetan, and David Jones.
