HSIDC acquires land to boost industries

The Haryana State Industrial Devleopment Corporation (HSIDC) has planned development of technology park, industrial model townships, petro chemical hub, textile parks, gem and jewellery parks for the development of industrial infrastructure.
The proposed industrial infrastructure would come up in 20,000 acres of land which is shortly going to be acquired, said Industries Minister Lachhman Das Arora, while speaking at a Vendor Development Programme and Industrial Exhibition at Rai in Sonepat district today.
Vendor development workshop will be developed for small scale industries to exhibit their products and talent, he said.
He also informed that 10 Special Economic Zones in the state were sanctioned by the Central government and another 10 were being considered by the government.
