Demolition of Fashion Mall renders leading industry lights shopless

All it took was a couple of bulldozers of the Muunicipal Corporation of Delhi to flatten upstreet shopping mall housing leading designers outlets on MG Road, day before yesterday.
Lal Dora that marks urban village boundary areas of the Capital not only housed New Delhi's but nations who's who fashion designers owning boutiques that display trendy and flashy collections.
The MCD action followed the recent Delhi High Court ruling that ordered razing down of illegal structures in urban clusters.
About 65 fashion designer and apparel outlets owned by leading lights such as JJ Vallaya, Manav Garg, Mandira Virk, Rohit Bal, Ritu Beri, Suneet Verma and several others.
Meanwhile, it is learnt that affected fashion designers are planning to pick up crudgels against the MCD's demolition drive.
