Hollywood fashion brigade at the 85th Oscars night

On Sunday evening, world’s famous, beautiful and extremely talented glitteratis, dressed in their fineries, gathered for the 85th Academy Awards ceremony held at Hollywood’s Dolby Theatre (formerly known as Kodak Theatre).

The gala red carpet event saw internationally renowned celebrities happily parading in ensembles created by some of the big names of fashion world such as Prada, Valentino, Gucci and Ellie Saab.

Among the list of those Hollywood beauties, who have charmed their way into the hearts of fashion lovers, was the 22-year-old American actress Jennifer Lawrence who stood out in her pale pink Dior ball gown. The Kentucky native, who also won the best actress award for her role in Silver Linings Playbook, sashayed in a structured strapless dress with a hefty train at the event.

The next dazzling diva in the list was Anne Hathaway, who set the pulses racing in her blush toned halter neck backless Prada gown. The 30-year-old Best Supporting Actress award winner, for her outstanding performance in Les Miserables, stole the hearts of millions in a long satin back slit gown which she herself jest fully explained as ‘business in the front, party in the back’.

South African actress Charlize Theron once again proved her inimitable fashionista image by donning a Christian Dior couture creation at the Oscars night. The lovely actress looked ravishing in a daring pristine white peplum top with a sleek train.

Twilight hottie Kristen Stewart chose a nude colour off shouldered gown by Reem Acra for the grand cinematic function. The 22-year-old wowed the onlookers in her intricately detailed body hugging outfit with a luxe feathery finish.
