Oscar winner Jennifer Lawrence's clothing fetch US$ 12,000

Seems like bagging an Oscar for her stellar performance in the American romantic comedy-drama film Silver Linings Playbook was not enough for Jennifer Lawrence – now the Academy Award winning actress has got one more reason to rejoice as the clothes worn by her in the movie have fetched a whopping sum of US$ 12,000 at an online auction.
Among the highly desirable clothing worn by the 22-year-old artist was a full-length black wool coat, which was sold at an amount of US$ 4,652, topping all the items in the list.
The other apparels from the movie that also went under the hammer were a custom-made stretchy dance pants, black tank top, blue long-sleeved t-shirt and a racer back sports bra.
Lawrence won the Best Actress title at the 85th Academy Awards for essaying the role of an outspoken young widow in the David O. Russell directed movie Silver Linings Playbook.
