Collection Première Moscow underscores leading position

CPM (Collection Première Moscow), the leading trade fair for fashion in Russia underscored its leading position also by European standards boasting 19,800 visitors and top scores as well as over 1,600 collections from 31 countries on more than 58,000 m² of exhibition space.

Exhibitors attached particular importance to making individual appearances to the trade audience as well as to the presentation of collections for the 2013/14 Autumn/Winter season – and indeed they filled their order books. An increased number of visitors from the Russian regions and the neighbouring CIS states were registered. Next to women’s and men’s wear the CPM kids and CPM Fashion&Denim segments were a special focus for buyers.

At CPM Premium high visitor attendance and satisfied exhibitors reflected the continuing rise in demand for high-quality and individual collections.

A busy working atmosphere also prevailed at the CPM Body&Beach over the four days. Agencies, importers and distributors as well as major European brands confirmed that professionalism amongst trade visitors had increased yet again.

“I particularly enjoyed the anniversary event,” said Philipp Kronen, Managing Partner of the Igedo Company, and continued: “many things work excellently at CPM and we are working hard to also be able to celebrate the next anniversary with pride.”

The CPM APP newly developed by the Igedo Company – featuring hall maps, events, brands and contacts as well as online registration plus the integration of GoogleMaps – made it easy for trade visitors to get an overview.

“Both exhibitors and visitors are now preparing for the fair more professionally and increasingly online,” commented CPM Project Director Christian Kasch on the trade fair and went on to say: “I never expected CPM to develop so quickly and positively and that we are now even using new media to show the size of this order platform.”

In excess of 35 fashion shows and seminars at the Russian Fashion Retail Forum and the Intimoda Lounge and the Get Together on the second and third day of the trade fair in the CPM Body&Beach and CPM Fashion&Denim segments rounded off the range of side events, thereby also underlining the importance of the trade fair as an information platform for retailers.

The next CPM – Collection Première Moscow will be held on the Expocentre exhibition grounds in Moscow on Wednesday, 4 to Saturday, 7 September 2013.
