Accessories register excellent results at Barbara Bui

Fashion group Barbara Bui announced the sales results of 2005. It realized in 2005 a sales turnover of 22.75 M€, in rise from + 17 percent compared to the preceding exercise.

The success of the processions took part in the reinforcement of the visibility and amplified the notoriety of the group in the universe of the luxury. The group thus consolidates its positions in its activity loan-with-to carry and profits from the development of its lines of accessories.

The sales turnover of the Shops reached 10.8 M€, in progression from + 21.3 percent with constant perimeter. In France, the activity was constant in the whole of the points of sale (+ 20 percent).

The growth is even stronger out of the borders: + 40 percent in Italy and + 41 percent in the United States atrate of constant exchange.

The Diffusion activity is registered in rise from + 12.3 percent to 11,9 M€.

The sales in Europe, first market of the group, were maintained on a high level. In parallel, very strong progression of sales turnover generated in the Eastern European countries and the recovery recorded on the American northern market drew the growth from the Diffusion activity. The accessories record outstanding results in the two distribution networks.

In the shops as a proper BARBARA BUI as in Diffusion, the sales of accessories are in very big rise. For the season Winter 2005, the sales turnover generated by the Shoes increased + 16 percent in Shops and from + 38 percent in Diffusion. In same time, the sales turnover of the Bags doubled in the two networks.
