Vietnamese Fashion designer, Ngo Thai Uyen, has made her way to the Western world through a leading American fashion retailer J Jill.
J.Jill is all set to launch Uyen's three new scarf designs in its brand new Autumn-Winter 2005 catalogue.
J.Jill is a multi-channel specialty retailer of women's apparel, including accessories and footwear targeting active, affluent women aged 35 and older.
Catalogue describes Uyen as someone who blends the skills of Vietnam with the international fashion to offer unique look.
Scarves sport vibrant colours and skillful fusion of cultures made on Toan Thin high-grade silk and bring mix Oriental and Western characteristics.
Scarves are priced at around US $108 per piece.
Uyen says that she had put in a lot of hard work and determination to match J.Jill's high standards.
Although J.Jill rejected her first scarves, she did not give up as she believed she had the designs to make it but needed to be patient and do her best.
She informed that she is inspired by anything and everything around her from a good movie to a sound at midnight; anything that leaves an impression on her mind.
