Poonam & Rohit present frothy feminine line at LFW

Inspired by the wondrous, mysterious and enchanting land of Egypt - a place known for its rich history and architecture, the designers based their range on the flow of sand dunes and regal motifs.

Using fabrics like chiffon, georgette, silk and Stanton, the line showcased an eclectic collection of Indo-western wear such as dresses, gowns and saris.

The pieces sported a soft structured look, which spread and flowed into delicate gathers along with exaggerated collars.  The colour palette comprised earthy tones such as fresh cream, copper, mud and bronze.

Keeping their pieces simple, the designers added glamour by incorporating aari, marori, pitta, trims, tassels, zardozi, braiding, weaves and sequins.

The showstopper was Bollywood beauty Sonal Chauhan star of the hit film “Jannat”, who wore a luxurious gown flaunting decadent embroidery around the neck that mirrored the look of a royal necklace.

Dream-like and rich, this collection by Poonam Sanghani and Rohit Dubey is one every diva would love to indulge in.
