Orchid Asia commits to invest $10mn in Sport100

Investment Group Orchid Asia Group Management, Limited ("Orchid Asia") and Sport100 International Holdings Ltd (Sport100) jointly announced that Orchid Asia has made US$10M investment commitment to Sport100 for its business expansion in China.
Sport100 is a Chinese leading specialty sporting goods retail chain based in Shanghai and managed by a team of experienced management.
It offers a wide range of products targeting the young and discerning consumers who aspire to a healthy and energetic lifestyle.
Sport100 is the number 1 player in the sector with more than 30 large format stores of average store size over 2,000 square meters in ten major cities including Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin and Shenzhen.
It pursues a multi-brand strategy covering a comprehensive range of branded sporting goods in the apparel, footwear, accessories and equipment categories, providing an unrivalled one-stop shopping experience.
