RR Donnelley gets $20m Sportsman's Guide contract renewal

RR Donnelley & Sons Company has been awarded a multi-year contract extension to produce 100 percent of the catalog printing and logistics services for The Sportsman's Guide Inc, a leading marketer of value priced outdoor gear and general merchandise, with a special emphasis on outdoor clothing, equipment and footwear.
The company operates in two segments, The Sportsman's Guide and The Golf Warehouse, markets through two primary channels -- catalogs and e-commerce Web sites, and mails over 50 million catalogs to existing and prospective customers. The expected term value of this agreement exceeds $20 million.
Greg Binkley, President and CEO, The Sportsman's Guide said, "As our existing printer, RR Donnelley's ongoing dedication to customer service and quality, combined with their proven track record of on-time mail delivery, convinced us that we would be best served by extending our contract with them. They showed us time-and-time again that the team supporting our work could be depended upon to follow through on all issues that impacted our business, which made the entire print production process run very smoothly.”
