The 2006 L'Oréal Melbourne Fashion Festival (LMFF) Business Seminar is presented by Eye, Qantas, Westfield and the Victorian State Government and supported The Saints by Zacamoco.

2006 Business Seminar takes place on Wednesday 1st March at the Sofitel Melbourne, bringing together some of the sharpest names in brand strategy, retail, marketing and trend forecasting.

In the past ten years, the fashion world has been exposed to significant shifts in markets with a strengthening of both the volume market and the contrasting luxury brand end of the spectrum. Global markets have fused with many fashion and beauty brands, offering their product lines across the world.

There has been a major impact on the fashion world arena with China not only being a major producer of global fashion product, but emerging into a significant fashion consumer market.

The 2006 LMFF Business Seminar proudly presents Pierre-François Le Louet, Directeur Général of the Nelly Rodi Agency in Paris, who will examine these trends - providing insight into global shifts in fashion markets over the next five years, and assisting the audience to understand opportunities and obstacles that the global fashion stage has in store.

The NELLY RODI Agency is part of a tight circle of the 5 major international style offices. Created in 1985 in Paris and presided over by Madame Nelly Rodi, the agency - a true laboratory for observing international trends - unites thirty collaborators who accompany the development of new brands and products for the largest companies in the fashion, beauty and home environment areas.
