Freeport reaches agreement on development in Eastern France

Freeport Plc, a leading developer of European designer outlet centres, has announced that following extensive discussions with French regional government in Strasbourg, agreement in principle has been reached to issue the outstanding licences necessary to enable Freeport to commence construction.
Freeport now expects to receive these licences in the next twelve weeks which will result in a six month delay to our previously predicted programme.
Sean Collidge, Executive Chairman, said, "Planning and development is not an exact science but Freeport remains ready to commence construction when permitted to do so."
Freeport Plc was founded in 1994 by the current Executive Chairman, Sean Collidge and has grown to become Europe's leading developer and operator of retailer outlet villages.
The group's principal activity is developing and operating outlet shopping and leisure sites. It operates in the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Sweden, Portugal, Czech Republic, Austria, France and Portugal.
