Jewelry retailer Tiffany plans to open store in Vancouver

Jewelry and specialty retail stores operator Tiffany & Co plans to open a store in Vancouver, British Columbia, in November 2006.
The approximately 4,700 gross-square-foot store will be prominently located at the corner of Burrard and Alberni streets in the heart of the city's business and retail district.
The jeweler will offer an array of renowned Tiffany & Co collections, including engagement diamonds and jewels of ultimate glamour in platinum and eighteen-karat gold settings; rare and lustrous pearls; fashion jewelry and watches; The Gehry(TM) Collection created by Tiffany's newest designer, celebrated architect Frank Gehry; the signature designs of Elsa Peretti, Paloma Picasso and Jean Schlumberger; as well as accessories, china and crystal gifts.
Beth Canavan, Executive Vice President of Tiffany & Co, said, "The qualities that make Vancouver one of the world's best cities to live in as well as to visit, also make it the ideal location for a Tiffany & Co store."
