Cherokee extends license agreement with Target Corporation

Cherokee Inc, a leading licensor and global brand management company, announced that Target Corporation has exercised their option to extend their agreement for the Cherokee brand through January 2008.
Robert Margolis, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Cherokee Inc said, "Cherokee was established in 1973 and over the past 30 plus years has become one of the most trusted family brands. We are fortunate to have partnered with Target and we look forward to the continued growth of the Cherokee brand worldwide."
Cherokee Inc, based in Van Nuys, is a marketer, licensor and manager of a variety of brands it owns (Cherokee, Sideout, Carole Little and others) and represents.
Currently, Cherokee has licensing agreements in a number of categories, including family apparel, fashion accessories and footwear, as well as home furnishings and recreational products.
