Leading fashion distributor INDITEX Group informed that a new Zara store has opened in Sweden's Drottninggatan Avenue, one of the best commercial locations in the country.
Due to its size and privileged location, this will be Zara's flagship store in Sweden. It will also be the chain's largest shop in Scandinavia.
All the original elements of the store's façade, an impressive Neoclassical construction dating back to 1889, have been respected, according to Zara's adaptation requirements.
The store has a 20-metre façade and three floors devoted to retail, with women's, men's and children's collections. Its total retail space of approximately 2,500 m2 will make it the largest Zara store in Scandinavia.
This is the fourth Zara store in Stockholm, following store openings in Hamngatan, Sturegallerian and Täby Centrum. In addition to the Stockholm stores, Zara also has a commercial presence in Malmö.
Inditex will now have eight stores in Sweden, five belonging to Zara and three to Massimo Dutti. The Group is currently present in 62 countries with 2,700 stores of its eight commercial formats.
Zara walks at the pace of society, dressing ideas, trends and tastes that society itself has matured. Hence its success among people, cultures and generations that, in spite of their differences, share a special sensitivity for fashion.
