Opulent ready to wear collection by Tanja Pignatelli

Women's clothing & accessories store Tanja Pignatelli reported that in January 2004, Princess TANJA PIGNATELLI launched a line of luxury clothing and accessories. Her opulent ready to wear collection was initially comprised of handmade silk and cashmere pieces, embroidered and adorned with intricate glass beading.
One item stood out though: a sheer and sexy fringed silk Georgette poncho, glass beaded and embroidered completely by hand. The item, now in its third year, is still a best seller, and has even been used by Haley Duff for a CD cover.
Five seasons later, the collection has reinvented itself several times. One thing remains constant though and that is an unparalleled attention to detail and quality.
The clothing is still pure fantasy yet even more extensive- the Fall 2006 Collection consists of lush monochromatic velvets, silk satins, and cashmeres, delicately adorned with tonal glass beading and embroidery. Dresses, shaved shearling gilets, camisoles, skirts, tops and sweaters are now pushing the line in a more ready-to-wear direction.
Tanja's collection is both super-hip yet ultra-chic. Worn with blue jeans they are a staple among the 20-something “it” crowd. Glamorized by night as evening wear, the pieces are worn like rare jewels and are a favorite among the sophisticated elite.
Vogue, INSTYLE, and Life and Style magazines were quick to feature the stunning new designer. Even the super exclusive PIRELLI CALENDAR jumped in the fray.

Tanja Pignatelli stumbled into the fashion world by chance. Her childhood and teenage years were spent in Florida training to become a professional tennis player.
