Ritu Kumar hosts S/S preview at new Mumbai store

While Amrita made heads turn dressed in an Aztec printed dress and dressy tassled bag, Evelyn was the cynosure of all eyes in an elegant tunic worn with leggings, an a gold clutch bag, all from the new LABEL Spring Summer line

The new Ritu Kumar LABEL store at Versova, now takes the LABEL network upto 27 stores in India and brings the designers signature textures, prints and silhouettes to design conscious divas in the northern suburb.

Amrita and Evelyn browzed around, checking out the fresh arrivals and taking their pick from a collection of dresses, jackets, tunics, pallazos and vibrant sling & clutch bags.

This Spring Summer, LABEL by Ritu Kumar recreates the magic and simplicity of Art Deco. The collection exemplifies a mastery of graphics with its aesthetic message and is a beautiful mish-mash of feminine creations.Colors such as Coral, red, black, blue, green, pink, yellow and beige form the base of the creation, and the playful yet elegant patterns enhance the uniqueness of each piece

Accessories from LABEL are made in some of the hottest shades this season - chrome yellow, white, black, tangerine and charcoal black, the Aztec and Feather prints, LABEL accessories lend a dramatic character to the look being presented this season. Using the motifs and mood from the Art Deco era, the collection brings to life a contemporary design language that draws inspiration from the art and architecture of the period.
