Virginia's RVA Fashion Week to feature 10 designers

Around ten diverse fashion forward designers are going to present their collections at the upcoming fifth edition of RVA Fashion Week, scheduled to be held from April 28 to May 4, 2013 in Richmond, the capital city of Virginia, US.
Local designer Laurianda Christina Jenkins will showcase a typically girly collection for ladies who crave for the same kind of excitement in their outfits which they had experienced when they were little girls. The line will include polka dotted short dresses and puffy skirts.
The 21-year-old Richmond native and fashion week debutante James Williams will present ensembles made from the designs he drew during his middle school days. Following an organic approach, his clothes are being inspired from his travels to various locations.
Portsmouth-born Jennifer Carpenter along with her sister Mindy Mizelle will showcase a sophisticated casualwear line which will include a range of day and eveningwear ensembles.
Hosted annually, RVA Fashion Week aims to highlight the unique fashion, nightlife and entertainment culture of Richmond.
