Fairy-tale gowns parade at Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week

A range of fairy-tale like voluminous wedding gowns with flowy long trains and lace sashes were featured at the just concluded Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week.

The event was kicked off by the famous Catalan designer Rosa Clara. Inspired by beauty and femininity, the designer presented her latest runway show in three parts on the opening day. Made from luxe fabrics like silk, Mikado, tulle and brocades, the dresses, suits and skirts were decorated with rhinestones, hemstitch and embroidery of beads and flowers.

Spanish label Victorio & Lucchino, by Jose Victor Rodriguez Caro and Lucchino, featured a collection meant specifically for the brides from cold countries. Infused with delicate pleats and layered textures, the range included frock coats, boleros and jackets.

Rock & Roll music played inspiration behind Spanish fashion designer Isabel Zapardiez’s latest bridal line. Designed for self assertive modern women, the gold, silver, pink, green and gray ensembles featured prominent necklines and backs along with beautiful floral patterns.

Valencian designer Francis Montesinos drew inspiration from the sensuality of Mediterranean women for his latest collection. The guipure embroidered and crystal detailed pieces were made of light chiffon and organza fabrics.
