Graduate Fashion Week to feature 16 fashion schools

Each university is represented by one graduate, with a winning collection chosen by an esteemed panel of judges headed by Sara Maino, Senior Fashion Editor, Vogue Italia.

Graduates from the following universities will be participating

- Parsons, the esteemed New York college, which counts Tom Ford, Marc Jacobs, Donna Karan and Proenza Schouler amongst its pioneering alumni

- FIT (Italy)
- Istituto Marangoni Milan
- IED (Institito Europeo di Design - Italy)
- Accademia di Costume e Moda (Italy)
- IUVA (Italy)
- Kolding (Denmark)
- Istituto Marangoni Paris
- ESMOD Berlin
- ESMOD Oslo
- Pakistan Institute of Fashion Design (Pakistan)
- Mimar Sinan Fine Arts (Turkey)

They will all participate in a joint international show on Monday, 3 June at 11am.  There will also be an International Award for the best collection judged by Sara Maino, senior editor Vogue Italia and the Royal College of Art’s Professor Wendy Dagworthy, who is a trustee of Graduate Fashion Week. 

This year MUUSE and Fashion Scout are teaming up to sponsor special award to produce and show a collection in London and Paris fashion weeks.

With an increased international media profile, securing global industry icons such as Alber Elbaz, Stefano Pilati, Glenda Bailey and Alberta Ferretti amongst previous judging panel; and mainline sponsorship from George at Asda, part of the USA retail giant Walmart group, Graduate Fashion Week now takes its place as the destination event for media, recruiters and global fashion brands wishing to tap into the rich resource from some of the best fashion and design Universities in the world!
