Paul Simonon partners Sailor Jerry Clothing for Flash line

Paul Simonon, the iconic artist and bassist from the popular English punk rock band The Clash, has teamed up with the famous Sailor Jerry Clothing line to create a limited-edition collection.
Titled as ‘The Flash Collection’ by Paul Simonon, the range will include an artistic amalgamation of Simonon’s signature design styles and the famed flash artwork of the late American tattoo artist Norman ‘Sailor Jerry’ Collins.
To be available in some selected stores worldwide and online at sailorjerryclothing.com from September 2013, onwards, the three-piece collection will feature a leather jacket, a T-shirt and a neckerchief.
Simonon is not only known for his contribution to music and style over the past three decades as the iconic bassist of ‘The Clash’, ‘Gorillaz’ and ‘The Good The Bad The Queen’, he is also a highly collected visual artist whose work exhibits internationally.
Sailor Jerry is a celebrated American brand and spiced rum inspired by the father of the old-school tattoo- Norman ‘Sailor Jerry’ Collins.
