Marques' Almeida to debut men's line during 'LC: M'

Marta Marques and Paulo Almeida, the talented designer duo behind the London-based womenswear brand Marques’ Almeida, are soon going to foray into menswear.
The designers are prepping up to showcase their first-ever men’s collection, created in collaboration with New York’s multi-faceted retail establishment Opening Ceremony, at a special menswear installation organized by the emerging designers’ non-profit initiative Fashion East.
In addition to Marques’ Almeida, the 10th menswear installation, which is scheduled to take place during the forthcoming season of ‘London Collections: Men’, will feature Spring/Summer 2014 collections from four other new designers—Liam Hodges, Kit Neale, Joseph Turvey and Tom Ryling.
Founded in 2000, Fashion East nurtures emerging young designers with sponsorship funds from Topshop, Topman and The London Development Agency.
Established in 2011, Marques’ Almeida was first introduced at Fashion East’s NEWGEN platform.
