Vogue Fashion Dubai Experience to house 250 global brands

The Dubai Mall, one of the grand fashion stops in Dubai, will house 250 fashion brands during its upcoming event, Vogue Fashion Dubai Experience, to be held on October 10, 2013.

The fashion event, organized by the popular fashion magazine Vogue Italia and The Dubai Mall, will be a one-stop-solution for all fashion lovers present in Dubai to celebrate fashion.

Along with its large display of fashion labels, the Vogue Fashion Dubai Experience will also host mentoring sessions for fashion designers from the country and the Gulf region, led by Franca Sozzani, Editor-in-Chief of Vogue Italia, and other eminent figures from the global fashion world.

At one such mentoring session, Sozzani has already evaluated the works of nearly 12 Emirati designers and offered insights on the newest trends in the fashion industry.

The Vogue Fashion Dubai Experience is an attempt to bring together all the fashion lovers from across the world, and to give an opportunity to young talents to show their creativity, said Sozzani, according to Saudi Gazette.

The event will showcase the latest fashion trends for the international fashionistas to update their fashion knowledge.

The Fashion Catwalk, the core of fashion event, will host a fashion show where international fashion designers will display their creations.

The organizers are looking forward to an audience of more than 400,000 visitors at the grand fashion event.

The Grand Atrium of the venue will host an exhibition featuring 50 Vogue covers that have made a mark in the fashion history.

The fashion brands at the Vogue Fashion Dubai Experience will launch a special line of merchandise exclusively for the event. Part of the revenue from the sales of these custom-made fashion wear will go to Dubai Cares, a philanthropic organization working to improve children’s access to quality primary education in developing countries.
