CFDA creates new programs for fresh graduates

This initiative is an advisory-based program and will highlight the varied career tracks that support the overall design and production process, while addressing the difficulties students typically face when transitioning from academia to the fashion industry.

Supported by industry insights and experience, these group tutorials will allow for critical practical preparation, self-evaluation, with open and frank discussion, and shared observation. Design portfolios will also receive individual attention and direction.

The CFDA appreciates the quandaries many graduates face and aims to bring together the leaders of the Fashion Industry and an adept hiring pool.

Graduates from the design areas of menswear, womenswear, and accessories will accumulate experiences in portfolio building, interview skills, and overall industry awareness.
