Mango, Desigual showcase at 080 Barcelona Fashion

Prominent brands like Mango and Desigual were among the companies and designers that showcased their collections at the ongoing 12th edition of 080 Barcelona Fashion in Spanish capital of Barcelona.

Mango opened the first parade of the show with its collection pinstripe suits and jackets with glut of shimmering black and some touches of red.

On the second day, it was the turn of Brazilian model Adriana Lima, who for the first time marched in Spain for designer brand Desigual in a tight white dress with circular patterned red and green stripes.

Women’s fashion remained the focus of the brand, whose collections drew inspiration from 70s fashion in festivals like Coachella in California, and thus came covered with floral prints, particularly daisies.

Designer Krizia Robustella featured collection for men and women with variedly sized vichy squares, fruit prints and much use of pastel colours.

Selim Somavilla used French propositions in his men and women collections trying to bring an urban beach to life.

Albeniz tried to draw all eyes at the show through a men’s collection inspired by singer Ray Charles. Sequins, glitter, gold and transparent gauze—all characterised the short pants, pailletes pastel shade T-shirts with gold sequins and crystal sconces, military stripes, sleeved and sleeve-less shirts, aprons, ruffled chiffon and jackets, bolero jackets studded with crystals.

Zazo & Brull presented a collection for men and women enlightening the significance of the Palestinian scarf shemagh or its fabric with glut of floral prints on light silk.

Manuel Bolaño in his collection titled "Bleu en Français" for women and men featured cotton shirts with pleated black silk-screened pattern on the front. He also showcased waist skirts and hipsters with zippers for women.
