UAL students to partake in LAUNCH micro-challenge

The challenge will uncover game-changing innovations that can unlock the barriers to the system of materials and the ways in which they are made. The micro-challenge will complement the LAUNCH Systems Innovation Challenge, with the application deadline closing on July 15th, 2013.

The Centre for Sustainable Fashion at London College of Fashion has been working with Nike for the last 18 months developing tools and promoting ideas that help designers to make more sustainable choices about the materials they use in their products.

In April this year, as part of the project, a mixed group of staff, students and emerging British design talent went out to Portland for the Launch 2020 summit.
