As the holy month of Ramadan begins, the fashion designers are out to dress the Islamic community through the holy month and also for the forthcoming festival of Eid.

A number of Arabic as well as international fashion labels and brands have launched their collections specifically to cater to the occasion. The names include, Marks & Spencer, Al Yashmac, Keshwah, Ann Rose, Gul Ahmed and Collage.

Marks & Spencer’s exclusive Ramadan collection for girls and women comprises of attractively designed chiffon and silk tops, long elegant crocheted shirts and evening dresses.

Al Yashmac’s collection of Jalabiyas for the season comes inspired by magically renewed spirit of Ramadan, kindred spirits, fascinating sunsets, enchanting nights and soulful moments.

Salama, the Emirati designer has created a collection for Arabic brand Keshwah. The collection highlighting various colours is trendy and yet modest. Pieces like a wide-sleeved abaya worn over a white summer dress with embroidered sleeves marks the collection.

Eid collection of Ann Rose, another popular name in the fashion industry, mainly includes three-piece dresses for women and girls. The collection comprises of duppattas, shalwars, long shirts, pants and modern dresses.

Pakistani brand Gul Ahmed is next in line to have launched Ramadan-Eid collection. The brand which is known for using high quality fabrics in its collections has this time used normal lawn and silk in its collection for the festival, which includes salwar-suits, long pants, sleeveless shirts, long tops, etc.

Multi-label fashion clothing house Collage, which is recognized as a brand of smart casualwear, formal wear and prêt wear has also come up with a collection for the occasion. The collection includes beautifully designed and nicely embroidered shirts and palazzo for girls. The ban neck design in coat colour design and embroidery on sleeves and daman and also on the back side, give a special look to the shirts.
