VFNO's 5th edition to inaugurate Women's Fashion Week

Vogue’s Milan Fashion Night out (VFNO) is to be held for the fifth time in a row and will be inaugurating the Milan Women’s Fashion Week.
The Fashion Night out (FNO) is slated to be held on September 17, 2013, a day before the opening of the fashion week which is to be held from September 18 to 23, 2013.
The shopping event has become popular all across the globe, with countries like Brazil, China, Germany and South Korea participating in the event. However, New York City will not be participating in this year’s VFNO.
Vogue Italia Chief Editor Franca Sozzani said this year people will be able to get in touch with the upcoming designers, who were selected by Vogue Italia to showcase their creations at the ‘Vogue Talents’ opening on the same night at the Palazzo Morando, Milan.
Among the initiatives supporting new talents, a temporary store sponsored by Visa will allow the winners of the talent contest organized by Vogue Italia to sell their collections during the VFNO.
The FNO was created for bringing optimism to fashion retail through extending opening hours of shops and boutiques and numerous events and special initiatives in all the major fashion capitals of the world.
