The first edition of the Madrid Fashion Show Men (MFSHOW MEN), sponsored by the English Court, successfully presented menswear lines and stayed true to its purpose of creating a rich map of men’s fashion trends for spring/summer 2014.

One of the first Spanish gateways dedicated exclusively for men, The MFSHOW continued its second and third day at the Conde Duque in Madrid after hosting the first day at the Costume Museum.

The second day had a dominant ‘British’ style in its collections with Garcia Madrid opening the show with classic gentleman tailored jackets and fitted pants in cool blue tones. A risqué black pleated skirt combined with white jacket and bow-tie was the highlight in the collection.

Clothing label Goose opted for a less risky collection with trench coats, blazer suits and sweatshirts, along with American elbow patches, attached shorts and loose plaid shirts, all in bright color tones like apple green and sea blue.

Eduardo Rivera showcased a series of ‘technological’ suits, which required no ironing and presented them in bold colors like magenta, fluorescent yellow, classic black and navy. Tenkey ended the second day with its youthful sporty collection of casual clothes adorned with bow-ties.

The final day opened with X-Adnan’s collection that focused on mixing his trademark and making the hijab the star piece. The Chilabas, suit jacket formed with Saharan shorts in faint red stripes, beige and military green were incorporated in the designs.

Lander Uruquijo showcased a collection with camouflage prints in all clothing—pants, jackets and shirts.

Martin Warschbar had an artistic and musical note to its collection ‘current warrior’ with black and white, volumetric outfits stamped with paint strokes.

Responsible for putting the finishing touch to the show was Hominem with its youthful menswear line that structured around ‘wear comfortable yet versatile’.  The collection was created in Green, Blue, Orange, Beige and mustard color palettes.
