Sanjana Jon set to launch Indian bridal collection

US based Indian fashion designer Sanjana Jon unveiled her plans to launch collection for Indian brides and corporate women featuring exotic designs invoking a fresh, sexy, exotic, and feminine touch in the month of September this year.

She has also planned for Men's designer collection but after certain interval of time.

This designer clientele list includes Hollywood beauty, actress Paris Hilton and her sister Nicky, models such as Ivanka Trump, Armanda Hearst, Devon Aoki, Princess Sara al Saud of Saudi Arabia, and Princess Olivia de Borbon of Spain to name a few.

She has designed dress for former Miss Universe Jennifer Hawkins, during her trip to India.

She said she would like to dedicate a whole line of her products for khadi, which she admires as the most 'untapped' fabric. "I love khadi and have been trying to incorporate it in my collection. However, khadi was not practical in the west," she added.

Sanjana left for US in 1992, is head off from her celebrity brother designer Anand Jon and is launching her own product line consisting of bridal trousseaus and a designer collection for working women and 'pret line'.

Sanjana would be launching high-end bridal collection, which would be custom made, and would made for brides for their wedding or even honeymoon.

According to her India has the best fabrics, but cuts and line are missing, she would include the best of fabrics and embroidery in coming collection.
