UK fashion designer offers hand printed stylish garments
Aug '13
Emma Nissim is a small London based family business offering high quality, hand printed, stylish garments through sustainable production and socially positive action. The high quality and craft of the garment, respect for the environment and mankind, and active lifestyles make up a list of their main core values. This involves endless research for this company. Their passion to find the perfect fabric is always at the top of their list. “It has almost become an obsession!”

A new strapline for the company has been released in conjunction with the upcoming launch of Emma Nissim’s new and specifically designed Yoga and Pilates tops: ‘Fun-Alive-Fresh - A lifestyle worth living.’

“These words have been carefully chosen after a series of word games and some helpful feedback through social media. We feel that it really sums up and conveys the feeling and sensation of our products. We have been naming our colours after foods that can evoke a strong sense of taste and together with the super softness of the fabric; it can really play with your senses and therefore translates into these words for us.”

The fabric has been specially manufactured with Emma Nissim’s specifications. Having an eco-friendly fabric, ethically manufactured is a minimal expectation for the company. Light and soft to the skin, shaped for everyday wear and a great all-round garment when styled with one of Emma’s own silkscreen printed designs and is very adaptable as an essential base for most outfits, like a second skin. As well as being high quality, it is really easy to care for.

This new collection geared for yoga and easy wear, will be available in 3 colours: Mint Ice-cream, Dragon Fruit Pink and Black Sesame. The current collection of bamboo and organic cotton is the lightest fabric. Customers tell us that nothing has been better for the recent heat waves.

“This new strapline is perfect for this company; it reflects our core values very accurately.”

Emma Nissim’s clothing range is ideal for those who like to be active. They are light and breathable, and she has offered a range of prints for people to choose from that make them happy and motivated.

“We have found that most of our customers love our fabrics, as we do. People just want to be more comfortable these days, but if we can easily look great and express our personality at the same time, then that is an absolute bonus!”
