Costa Rica Fashion Week 2013 to start on August 8

Designers from all over Central America, Mexico and Colombia are going to showcase their latest collections at the forthcoming Central American sartorial fest Costa Rica Fashion Week 2013.
Slated to be held from August 8, 2013 onwards in San Jose, the capital city of the Latin American nation of Costa Rica, the event would serve as a meeting ground for fashion designers, traders and design school students.
Considered as the most important fashion event of the entire Central American region, the soiree will feature ready-to-wear, haute couture and conceptual designs from a bevy of fashion talents.
Other than the highly stylized runway shows, the four-day-long event will also host style expos, design workshops, press conferences and fashion industry discussions.
The event will be organized by the Ministry of Labor, the National Institute of Learning (INA in Spanish) and the Textile Chamber of Industry in Costa Rica (CATECO).
