Guangzhou fashion events to kick start from August 10

The Guangzhou International fashion festival and the Guangzhou fashion week will be held in the Guangdong province of South China, from August 10 to 12, 2013.

The exhibition and fashion festival would be organized by the Guangzhou Municipal government, Economic and Trade Commission of Guangzhou Garment Industry Association, Guangzhou Economic and Trade Exhibition Center and the Guangzhou Yijia Exhibition Services Ltd.

The festival would have renowned designers from the fashion industry of 50 countries, including China who will showcase collections including menswear, womenswear, denim, sportswear, casual wear, dresses and kidswear.

Over 600 companies from 20 countries including China would partake in the exhibition which is held annually.

In addition to the fashion festival, the expo has introduced an e-commerce area this year which would invite representatives from more than 20 online garment suppliers and garment enterprises to the Static fashion festival hall to set up China’s first museum for the apparel industry, and provide one-stop solution for the visitors.

The Guangzhou festival is South China’s most influential clothing exhibition dedicated to the enrichment of the brand ‘Guangzhou clothing’.

The Guangzhou fashion week is a platform for local brands to gain knowledge from international peers as more than 30 percent of clothing brands attending the fashion week are usually from overseas.
