Oiselle joins Nolcha Fashion Week New York line up

Designer Sally Bergesen shares: “We're pumped to be showing at Nolcha Fashion Week: New York. The flight for active apparel crossed with fashion is just beginning”

The Spring/Summer 2014 collection is a blend between performance and style without ever lacking on either side. The core design concept is to give women the design-forward, sweat-worthy styles they yearn for. Oiselle’s philosophy is for all women wearing the Oiselle brand to feel feminine and fierce.

The inspiration for this collection derives from Sally’s widespread variety of interests. Sally majored in English, then turned runner, turned designer. These things have fueled the fusion that you can see coming through in this collection.  Sally’s vision is to make women happy, to give women what they yearn for with this cross fusion of styles to suit the modern woman.

The signature style of Oiselle, Sally tells us is “flattering shorts, fun graphics and scrumptious fabrics.” Oiselle has many influences and inspirations such as Jenna Lyons, Alexander Wang, Rag & Bone, Steve Jobs and Sarah Robinson. Sally also tells us that she her favorite quote is from Tina Fey, “Say yes and you’ll figure it out afterwards.”
