An array of Spring/Summer 2013-14 fashion trends from a talented mix of young and experienced designers were highlighted at the recently concluded most prestigious Argentinean fashion centric event BAFWeek.

Held in the country’s capital city of Buenos Aires, the first day of the soiree saw an eclectic zero-waste collection designed by Joan Martorello. Made from fabrics like linen, silk and shawl yarns, the loosely tailored outfits included oversized pants, straight-cut long dresses, coats, shirts and T-shirts.

Drawing inspiration from the Rock and Roll legend Mick Jagger, the Fashion talent Andrea Urquizu presented a monochromatic line. The range displayed flared dresses with plunging necklines, tailored coats, long camisoles, palazzos, man shorts, pants and oxford shirts.

Taking cues from the ever-changing styles between the 1920s till the 1980s era, the clothing label Mishka featured an exciting collection. Based on colours like black, turquoise, yellow, off-white, blue, burgundy, red and pink, the line showcased chiffon dresses with bell sleeves, shirts, skirts and leggings.

Inspired from the ethereal light, designer Mariana Dappiano presented an interesting collection infused with Oriental elements. The range included kimonos, baggy pants and asymmetric wrap dresses and shirts.
