Fashion would be in spotlight at the Perth Fashion Festival (PFF) slated to take place from September 11 to 16, 2013.

In its 15th edition, the premier fashion event of Western Australia would showcase leading local and national talents across 30 world-class events.

Designer Elisha Quintal would present her SS14 collection - Call of the Bird for The Butcher and The Crow. The collection would feature shades like coral, golden greens and ocean blues mingled in their quintessential soft draping and flowing silks.

Steph Audino’s SS13/14 ready-to-wear collection Euphoria, and Couture Collection, would incorporate flowers, nature and a state of intense bliss and poise through pieces in tangerine, magenta, cobalt, white and black—all with Audino’s signature romantic, classic style.

Also, participating in the event are Camilla and Marc, the designer duo who recently showcased their Suprematist collection for Resort 2014 at Australian Fashion Week. The collection drawing from the Suprematism art movement of the early twentieth century featured neo-classical silhouettes and sharp tailoring with signature prints in strong colour palette of blacks highlighted with acid yellow, orange and teal.

Designer Kathryn Cizeika for Empire Rose would also partake in the event. The last collection presented by the designer titled ‘The Moors’ featured pieces embracing rich colours like olive, deep purple, rose quartz and mink in graffiti inspired digital prints as well as feather light silks with watercolour prints of moody greys and neon highlights.

Designer Kristy Lawrence, who recently created a collection for Flannel, would also take part in the event. His collection for Flannel, called ‘Paris meets New York for the Australian lifestyle’ incorporated pieces made using vintage inspired lace, washed silks and cascading silk chiffon adorned with sequins and drenched with ease and simplicity.

Kym Ellery, creator of Vitreous Resort 2014 collection, which is a re-imagination of classic ELLERY silhouettes with soft draping, elongated hems and sharp tailoring in palette of white, custard, rose, tan, chocolate and clay, would also be showcasing at the PFF.

Other designers to participate in PFF include Louise Bond, Kylie Radford, Nikolina Ergic and Daniel Romanin, Jaime Lee Major, Alister Yiap, Megan Salmon, Betty Tran, Natalie Donovan, and Anna Excell.
