Ending last Saturday CPM Collection Première Moscow saw 19,300 trade visitors enjoy 4 trade fair days of concentrated information on 2014 Spring/Summer fashion. Over 1,600 collections from 35 countries were presented on over 58,400 m².

A comprehensive show programme, seminars featuring top notch speakers and many side events put Russian fashion in the limelight. Exhibitors and visitors alike were very satisfied with the results of the trade fair.

“I am delighted that the 21st CPM was such a successful event again in its tenth year. A modified registration and admission system means it has once again been possible to increase trade visitor quality. This motivates us to continue working hard at maintaining and developing this against the backdrop of customer demands, trends and altering sales structures,” explained CPM Project Manager Christian Kasch.

A busy and informative mood prevailed in the individual areas Premium, Fashion&Denim, CPM kids and Body&Beach. All 45 fashion shows staged on three different catwalks enjoyed high attendance without exception. Well attended seminars and a ‘full house’ at sectoral meetings on several trade fair evenings demonstrated the on-going appeal of the event in Moscow.

Philipp Kronen, Managing Partner at the Igedo Company, notes: “In future we will need trade fair marketing that allows us bring to our exhibitors more new customers from the nearly 100 towns in the regions.

On the other hand, manufacturers should also present themselves as a clearly recognisable brand on the Russian market. At present, there are only a few exhibitors opting against an agency and staging themselves as a stand-alone brand on a trade fair stand.”

This is the verdict on the 21st CPM Collection Première Moscow: the Novosibirsk to Kransnojarsk catchment area still offers great potential. Building modern retail trading spaces in the provinces is now to be pushed. For the Russian textile sector and international trade this means that CPM has turned Moscow into a key trade fair location.

The next CPM Collection Première Moscow will be held at Moscow’s Expocentre from Tuesday, 25 to Friday, 28 February 2014.
