Fashion aficionados & celebrities gather for Paris FW

With Milan Fashion Week on its last leg, the fashion aficionados and celebrities from all over the world have already started making their way to the French capital to be a part of the most anticipated fashion event of the year, the Paris Fashion Week (PFW).

Scheduled to take place from September 24 to October 3, 2013, the event will feature fresh spring/summer 2014 ready-to-wear collections from a host of world-famous designer labels and international fashion houses.

Among the most prominent names that are expected to take the Parisian runway by storm is Balenciaga’s New York-based creative director of Taiwanese origin Alexander Wang, whose Autumn/Winter presentation in February edition of PFW was hugely appreciated.

Other than Wang, Yves Saint Laurent’s Hedi Slimane will also be a designer to look forward. Known for his expertise in skinny tailoring, the designer had featured a grunge-inspired line in the last edition of the bi-annual French event.

In addition to well-established labels, French label Zadig & Voltaire, which was founded by Lacoste co-founder Andre Gillier’s grandson Thierry Gillier in the year 1997, will also make its debut at the prestigious do.
