Tommy Hilfiger renews deal with 'Americans in Paris'

The showroom, located at Le 8 Valois, by the Jardins du Palais Royal in the heart of Paris, was open from September 28 - 30, 2013, during Paris Fashion Week, and displayed 10 designers collections, ranging from women’s and menswear to eyewear and fine jewellery.

“It has been an honor to be a part of the growth of the Americans in Paris program and to watch the success of participating designers over the past five seasons,” said Tommy Hilfiger.

He added, “My own experiences at the beginning of my career inspired my commitment to mentoring, and my strong belief that supporting emerging designers in building sustainable global businesses contributes to the continued success and excitement of our industry.”

On September 27th, 2013, Tommy Hilfiger hosted a round table discussion with the designers to provide mentorship and answer questions regarding the global nature of the industry today and expanding their business internationally.

Following the discussion, Mr. Hilfiger hosted a dinner in honor of the designers at acclaimed restaurant Monsieur Bleu.
