Six LCF creatives named for 'Choose the Next Maker' show

Stylist and Triumph have set out to find a skilled female maker to turn her craft into a business with the support of a £10,000 bursary.

In the running from LCF are a diverse range of talented designers and artists:

Louise O’Keefe, BA (Hons) Fashion Illustration, who graduated this year and was part of the Graduate Exhibition.

Alexandra Druzhinin, BA (Hons) Fashion Jewellery, another 2013 graduate who won the Off the Catwalk Award at our Runway Show in June.

2013 graduate, Shabnam Eslambolchi, BA (Hons) Fashion Design Technology: Womenswear, whose designs were also featured on the Runway in June.

Alumna, Una Burke, MA Fashion Artefact, who was winner of the 2009 Off the Catwalk Award and a finalist in the ITS Talent Award Accessories competition.

Youngwon Kim, MA Fashion Footwear 2013, another finalist in the ITS 2013 accessories category.

Alumna, Jennifer Morris, MA Fashion Design Technology: Womenswear who hopes to establish her label internationally.

The winner will receive a year of guidance from the competition’s Makers Collective and leading ambassadors: musician Paloma Faith, chef Gizzie Erskin, fashion designer Roksanda Illincic, and stylist Grace Woodward.
