Ashish Soni named 'Grand Finale' designer at WLFW

The acclaimed designer is all set to grace the finale with his collection ‘La Dolce Vita’ inspired by Hollywood glamour interpreted in his signature understated style. Ashish Soni will also create an exclusive collection for Wills Signature, which will be retailed from Wills Lifestyle stores across the country.

"I have always been a big supporter of the Wills Lifestyle India Fashion week and in my mind it is the premier platform for fashion in India for both upcoming and as well as established labels. My collection is titled ‘La Dolce Vita’ and I will be creating a line of stylistic clothing with a glamorous edge for both men and women.”

The ‘La Dolce Vita’ collection by Ashish Soni is an ode to the nonchalance and sensuality of the actresses from the 50’s. The dresses are fit for a walk down the red carpet. Jackets with in cut seems molded around the body, big masculine trousers, crisp white shirts, swirling circle skirts highlight the fit & flare flavored silhouette. The smoking tuxedo suit is just the right mix of laid back elegance and modern decadence.

The men’s collection will showcase Ashish’s interpretation of Tuxedo suits and dinner jackets perfect for modern black tie events. These masterpieces will feature fitted cuts and a variety of chic lapels in fabrics such as mohair wool blends to provide luminescence. Look out for the double breasted dinner jacket and scooped waistcoats as the highlights of the collection.

The Wills Lifestyle Grand Finale will be the highlight of India’s premiere fashion & trade event Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week on Sunday, 13 October 2013 in New Delhi at Pragati Maidan.
