Renowned Fiji fashion retailer Jack’s of Fiji announced its partnership with Pacific fashion label MENA, in order to make the internationally recognized brand available in Fiji.

Ms. Indira Ben, assistant retail marketing manager of Jack’s Group of companies, said MENA is a fashion brand that has dramatically altered the fashion landscape not only in the South Pacific but also internationally, reports Fiji Times Online.

The collaboration would make the Pacific fashion brand of clothing available in retail outlets of Jack’s of Fiji, throughout the country, she added.

At a mini fashion show, organized during the unveiling of the partnership, the Pacific fashion label showcased a 16 piece collection, which featured vibrant, organic, lush floral prints and the color of Pacific, which is a signature found in all the clothing created by the brand.

Agnes Loheni, director and designer of MENA, said the partnership has been developed after years of planning with the Fiji retail group and is a big achievement for the label, which would allow it to foray into the Fijian market.

MENA is a family-run business established in 2002, in Samoan Islands of the South Pacific Ocean, by Mena Loheni and her four daughters. The label sells unique designer resortwear, Hawaiian dresses and Pacific clothing, in Hawaii, New Zealand, Solomon Islands, Japan, Cook Islands, American Samoa and Papua New Guinea.

The Pacific fashion label also showcased 20 new designs under the Master Designer category at the MHCC Fiji Fashion Week 2013, which concluded recently in the country.

Jack’s of Fiji, is a premier shopping destination established in 1969, and has a widespread retail network, with 8 stores located in the major cities and towns of Fiji, and more retail outlets in 26 locations across the country.
